The Marshall County Assessor's Office is a Passport Agent for the U.S. Department of State Passport Services.

You may get a passport application form from the Assessor's Office or print one from the website above. Passport applications must be signed in front of a passport agent. We accept applications between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 Monday through Friday. PLEASE CALL 218-745-5331 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR APPLYING FOR YOUR PASSPORT.
For most passports, you will need the application form, 1 passport photo, a certified copy of your birth certificate and your driver’s license. Photocopies are NOT an acceptable form of documentation.
We take passport photos on-site. The cost for the photo is $10. Cash or check made payable to Marshall County is accepted payment.

There will be two separate payments. One form of payment must be a check or money order for the passport application to the Department of State. The other payment can be cash or check made payable to Marshall County for the photo and execution fee.
