Highway Department:
Mechanic (Warren Shop)
- This position is responsible for the management of all maintenance equipment including scheduling all maintenance work, scheduling major repair work with equipment manufacturers, keeping records of equipment operating hours and repair history. DOT Certification preferred, but able to obtain after hire date.
- Pay range is $25.62-$33.84, depending on experience.

Motor Grader Operator/General Maintenance Worker (Holt Shop)
- This position schedules and performs blading, snowplowing, and other minor roadside maintenance functions on route assigned. Responsible for reporting unsafe or insufficient conditions existing on roadways and bridges on assigned route.
- Pay range is $23.69-$30.91, depending on experience.
- Job Description: Motor Grader Operator/General Maintenance Worker
- The duties include roadside and road surface maintenance, surveying/construction assistance, and ditch spraying assistance
- Starting wage is $17.37 per hour
- The duties include roadside mowing county-wide and routine maintenance on equipment
- Starting wage is $19.90 per hour [$19.19 + $0.71 hazard pay]
Must be 18 or older and have a current driver’s license to apply.
SEASONAL: On-Call/Relief Plow Operators
This position will assist the maintenance operations of snow and ice control, which includes snow plowing and operating heavy equipment.
